Our day started a little dramatically with the final dislodging of one very stubborn front tooth. "Schnaggle" had travelled from Australia to the US without showing any signs of budging, despite hanging skew whiff in Isabella's mouth for over 2 months, until ... the "bagel breakfast"!!!
We also started our house-hunting today with a 4 hour marathon to view two houses - one a shabby dump, and the other a palace. The "palace" was quite a bit above our budget and the owner wouldn't budge, so unfortunately, no cigar. We liked the squirrels cavorting in the garden, and the impressive dimensions of the place, along with the very Christmassy neighbourhood.
The neighbours' places were pretty impressive, too!
Fluffy bows on letter boxes are all the rage here!
By 3pm we were all exhausted and in need of sustenance, but as desperate as we were, I'm not sure we'll be visiting the Happy China buffet restaurant again, though the fortune cookies might have been onto something! Can you guess who had what?

Those houses! It would be like living in a John Hughes movie!
