Goodbye Yarraville, Melbourne, Australia ...

This is my first ever blog, so please indulge me a little, while I find my feet - or font ... speaking of which, "Georgia" seemed like an appropriate choice for now - but being a "sans serif" devotee, this mightn't last!

So what are we most looking forward to, 15 days prior to departure?

 

Isabella: being a Princess for a day (or as long as we can milk it!) and a bunk bed!

Where are the children's seats supposed to go?

 Daniel: developing a deeper appreciation for diggers, balls and Doudou



For our fellow passengers' sakes, I hope we don't lose Doudou en route!

 

Abby Cadabby: being settled with her lovely family who are sparing no expense in bringing her with them on this adventure

 



Where's my Business Class boarding pass?

 

 

Sophie: food and drink worth writing home about (in a good way!) and settling into our new life.

Coffee as art, in Seddon, Melbourne ... what might a Georgian equivalent be?

We're all excited about the new adventure that we're about to embark on, and I for one can't wait to learn some of the local linguistic peccadillos - possibly from Isabella each day as she returns from school. Perhaps I'll share some of these, and other enlightenments, as we go!
